The latest images, shared by aerial photographer bioreconstruct on X, document work throughout the attraction, from the brake run approaching the station to the towering spike overlooking Universal CityWalk.

Brake Run and Load Station

Two aerial photos show the brake run leading into the station. Yellow arrows added by Bioreconstruct identify a device used to finalize the alignment of fins within the track.

Beneath the elevated brake run, weathered shipping container theming lines the lower track. These scenic walls will conceal the jackknifed Peterbilt truck from riders as their cars stage for launch.

We previously reported on the shipping container scenery and truck installation. The launch sequence is expected to send riders toward the truck before the track dives beneath its trailer.

Another aerial view provides a peek beneath the station roof, where curved track sections lead into the building. Exposed steel framing remains visible along the station’s open side.

That the framing could eventually support shipping container façades, though Universal has not confirmed the theming for this area. Guests inside the station are unlikely to see approaching cars entering the dual unloading area.

CityWalk Waterfront

Along the CityWalk waterfront, much of the new pavement for the redeveloped walkway appears complete. The reddish path curves between the lagoon and the coaster construction site, with white construction walls continuing to separate pedestrians from the work.

The completed paving follows earlier work to reconfigure the waterfront walkways, accommodating the new coaster’s footprint near CityWalk.

Two project office trailers have recently been relocated onto the former temporary walkway beneath the spike. Both are visible behind the construction walls near the base of the blue support structure.

Additional photos show pavement still in development closer to Hard Rock Cafe.

A closer aerial photo shows the switch track serving the spike, with workers and equipment positioned around the mechanism.

Bioreconstruct reported hearing the switch from the nearby Halloween Horror Nights walkway. He described a strong whoosh of air as the track locked into either of its two positions.

You can check out the track switch in action through this short clip from bioreconstruct below:

A wide ground-level view from across the CityWalk lagoon shows the coaster’s gray track and blue supports rising above the construction walls.
