Walt Disney World joined the celebration after UCF Football defeated No. 2 BYU, congratulating the Knights on their highest-ranked win in the team’s history.
Congratulations to the UCF Knights

The University of Central Florida defeated Brigham Young University 39–31 in double overtime on October 24, 2026, at UCF’s Acrisure Bounce House in Orlando.
Following the win, Walt Disney World’s official X account shared a congratulatory message:
Congrats to @UCF_Football on the highest ranked win in program history 🏈
The post included a photo of three UCF football helmets in front of Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom. White and black helmets flank a gold helmet bearing the Walt Disney World logo along its lower back edge.
“Highest-ranked win” means BYU was the highest-ranked opponent UCF has ever defeated, having entered the matchup at No. 2 nationally. The record concerns the opposing team’s ranking at the time of the game, rather than UCF’s own ranking or the margin of victory.
Disney’s congratulations follow the helmet sponsorship announced by Walt Disney World and UCF in September.
The agreement placed the Walt Disney World logo on the rear bumper of the Knights’ white, black, and gold helmets for the season, beginning with their September 26 game against TCU. The partnership builds on Disney and UCF’s longstanding relationship in Central Florida.
UCF is about a 35-minute drive from Walt Disney World Resort.
