Marvel’s Vision is joining ESPN’s promotion of ElClásico as FC Barcelona and Real Madrid prepare to face off on ABC for the first time.
‘VisionQuest’ Meets ElClásico

Paul Bettany, who portrays Vision in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will voice custom promotional content connecting Marvel Television’s VisionQuest with the soccer rivalry. ESPN’s plans include material for ABC and its social platforms, pregame content from Barcelona’s Spotify Camp Nou, and an exclusive VisionQuest spot during halftime coverage.
According to Variety, the campaign also includes a soccer-focused Bettany Q&A and a motion poster distributed through ESPN’s social accounts.
The Marvel promotion accompanies a milestone for ESPN’s coverage of the Spanish clubs. Their October 25 meeting marks the 265th official ElClásico and the first time the rivalry match will air on ABC in the United States. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET, following an hour of pregame coverage beginning at 3 p.m.
Viewers can also watch on ESPN+ in English and Spanish, ESPN Deportes in Spanish, and the ESPN app with an ESPN Unlimited subscription. ABC’s presentation comes as ESPN expands its television coverage of LALIGA, with at least 20 matches scheduled across ABC, ESPN, and ESPN2 during the 2026–27 season.
‘VisionQuest’ on Disney+

VisionQuest premiered on Disney+ on October 14.
Paul Bettany reprises his role as Vision, while James Spader returns as Ultron. Disney released the first full preview of the series in August, along with displaying White Vision’s suit at D23.
Ahead of the premiere, Marvel also released episodes of WandaVision on YouTube, giving viewers another opportunity to revisit the events preceding the new series.
