Disneyland Paris recently announced that Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril will close for refurbishment early next year. It will be the most extensive renovation since 1993.
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril Closing for Refurbishment
The roller coaster ride will close on January 4, 2027. The attraction will be closed for several months to undergo “its most extensive renovation since it first opened.“
Since the ride debuted in Disneyland Paris back in 1993, the attraction in Adventureland has invited guests to explore a mysterious temple amidst ancient ruins and stone scenery. To preserve the attraction and its atmosphere, crew members will be working on the stones that form the temple, parts of which will be completely rebuilt.
Crew members will also carry out maintenance on the track’s supporting structures, like the rails and footbridges, which include the replacement of guardrails and wooden and metal cladding. Meanwhile, the decorative elements of the attraction will be taken down and restored.
The wooden walkways in the queue area will be completely rebuilt. The outside area of the ride will also be restored, including the lighting as well as the Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost shop.
Disneyland Paris has not announced an official reopening date.
