Disneyland Resort Shifts to Virtual Queue for Kingdom Hearts Pin Releases, Eliminates Standby Line

Disneyland Resort will now use a virtual queue for the release of their popular Kingdom Hearts pins, thus eliminating the standby line.

The virtual queue will begin with the November 3 pin release. Information is available on signage at Disneyland Resort as well as on the Virtual Queues webpage of the Disneyland website.

The pin will be released at Disney’s Pin Traders in Downtown Disney District. Guests will need to use the Disneyland app to join the virtual queue for purchasing the Kingdom Hearts pin and other pins releasing that day.

Guests can join the virtual queue beginning at 5 a.m. on Tuesday, November 3. They must be within 60 miles of Downtown Disney District to join.

Each guest may request to enter the virtual queue no more than once. Guests cannot join as a party — they can only join individually.

A standby queue will not be available.

A new Kingdom Hearts pin has been released at Disneyland and Walt Disney World every month of the year, selling out quickly each time. We expect Disneyland to also use the virtual queue for the last Kingdom Hearts pin releasing in December.
