‘Heated Rivalry’ Star Connor Storrie Reportedly in Talks to Join Ryan Gosling in Marvel’s ‘Ghost Rider’

Connor Storrie, who recently gained attention for his role in the hockey drama Heated Rivalry, is reportedly in talks to join Ryan Gosling in Marvel Studios’ upcoming Ghost Rider movie. Storrie is being eyed for a villainous role opposite Gosling, who will portray the supernatural antihero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Connor Storrie, who recently gained attention for his role in the hockey drama Heated Rivalry, is reportedly in talks to join Ryan Gosling in Marvel Studios’ upcoming Ghost Rider movie.

According to reports from Deadline and Variety, Storrie is being considered for the project, though the identity of the character he could portray has not been revealed.

The potential casting would add another rising performer to Marvel’s latest feature film lineup. Storrie’s profile has grown following his work in Heated Rivalry, while Gosling is preparing to lead the studio’s new take on one of Marvel’s more supernatural characters.

Ryan Gosling to Lead ‘Ghost Rider’ Movie

Marvel Studios confirmed Gosling as Ghost Rider during its presentation at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2026. The actor appeared alongside Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige and director Shawn Levy to announce the project, which is scheduled to arrive in theaters on July 28, 2028.

Levy, who previously directed Deadpool & Wolverine, is directing the film, with Jonathan Tropper writing the screenplay. The project also reunites the filmmaker with Gosling following their work together on Star Wars: Starfighter.

Ghost Rider is the supernatural alter ego of Johnny Blaze in the comics, a motorcycle stunt performer who becomes bonded to a demonic force known as the Spirit of Vengeance. The character is known for his flaming skull, supernatural abilities, motorcycle, and fiery chain.

The role was previously played by Nicolas Cage in Ghost Rider (2007) and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance (2011). Gabriel Luna also portrayed Robbie Reyes, a different incarnation of Ghost Rider, in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Gosling’s version will bring the character into the MCU’s feature film lineup, although Marvel has not yet revealed extensive story details for the new movie.

Who Could Connor Storrie Play?

While Storrie is reportedly being considered for a villainous role, Marvel has not announced which character he might portray. Ghost Rider has faced numerous supernatural adversaries in Marvel Comics, leaving several possibilities for the upcoming film.

Among the character’s notable enemies is Blackheart, the demonic son of Mephisto, who appeared in the 2007 film starring Cage. Mephisto himself has also featured prominently in Ghost Rider’s comic book history and has entered the MCU through Ironheart. However, there is no confirmation that either character will appear in the new film or that Storrie is being considered for either role.

Until Marvel makes an official announcement, the actor’s potential character remains unknown.

The casting report also arrives as Marvel continues building its upcoming theatrical slate. With Gosling leading Ghost Rider and Levy directing, the film is positioned to bring the supernatural side of Marvel’s comic book universe to theaters in 2028.

For now, Storrie’s involvement remains a report rather than a confirmed casting announcement. Additional details about the film’s supporting cast, plot, and production have yet to be officially disclosed.
