After switching to QR code-based recreation schedules a few weeks ago, Walt Disney World Resort hotels are now installing permanent signage for the schedules.
Permanent QR Code Signs

In September, hotels began replacing their printed recreation schedules with scannable QR codes, allowing them to change offerings without changing the sign. Previously, the schedules were on sandwich boards or other temporary movable frames, as seen above.

Now resorts seem to be switching to more permanent installations. We spotted these blue frames in planters at Disney’s Pop Century Resort and Art of Animation Resort.

Inside Pop Century’s lobby, another sign was posted in a silver frame.

Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort has one white and seafoam green frame in a flower bed. Another sign is posted within an opening near the lobby.

Resorts haven’t all made the switch yet. This black frame holding the sign at Disney’s Riviera Resort still seems to be temporary.
