Disney is getting into the Halloween spirit with a new 10-hour lo-fi video inspired by the 1929 Mickey Mouse animated short The Haunted House.
Disney “The Haunted House” Lo-Fi Video

The new video features Mickey exploring a spooky hallway inside a haunted house, accompanied by mellow lo-fi music.
Throughout the video, Mickey investigates various doors along the hallway, while familiar Disney characters, including Minnie Mouse, Goofy, and Donald Duck, occasionally make appearances. Of course, a few skeletons and a cowled specter also make appearances as they did in the original short.
Unlike the original short film, however, the video spans a whopping 10 hours. Whether or not you stick around that long, viewers can check it out as a relaxing, Halloween-themed backdrop for studying, working, or enjoying a dose of spooky Disney ambience.

The video is directly inspired by The Haunted House, a black-and-white Mickey Mouse short released in 1929. The original story follows Mickey as he seeks shelter from a storm inside a haunted house, only to encounter a group of skeletons and other supernatural forces that have their own evening plans in mind.
The short was directed by Walt Disney and featured animation by Ub Iwerks, one of the pioneering animators behind Mickey Mouse.
Disney previously released another 10-hour lo-fi video featuring the Marsh Market from Zootopia 2, offering another animated setting accompanied by relaxing music.
