Here is our full room tour of a theme park view room at the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel. These hotel rooms sleep up to four adults and include two queen beds and a small pull-down.

Shanghai Disneyland Hotel Theme Park View Room

This hotel room has several nods to different classic Disney IPs throughout, including Mickey Mouse and Tinker Bell, and has an Art Nouveau style.

The entry hallway of the room has a small nook on the right, perfect for luggage as you come in, and two sets of doors. One set leads to the bathroom, and the other leads to a closet. Throughout the room, the floor is covered in a multi-colored floral-patterned carpet.

By the door, there are light switches, sensors to keep the lights on, and a do-not-disturb button.

Behind the sliding mirror door is the bathroom. This bathroom has all the fixtures in one room, like other Disney hotel rooms may have.

The vanity has a blacks stone counter, and the dark wood base has two drawers and two cubbies, and is inspired by the Art Nouveau featured throughout the room. The bathroom has a Toto Washlet that is popular in China.

In the bathroom, there is a bath and shower combo with a white Mickey-patterned shower curtain. The shower includes a handheld shower head and complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for both adults and babies.

The bath also has a headrest fixed to the tub. Hanging next to the shower tub comb is a hotel robe with the resort name embroidered on it for the stay.

The mirror hanging above the vanity has a light wood frame and includes details like Tinker Bell in one corner and two water lilies in another. The flower motif spreads to the sconces on the wall. Next to the large mirror is a non-illuminated make-up mirror with an extendable arm.

The tile was another beautiful detail added to the bathroom floor, which can be seen as you enter the bathroom. There was also a print of the fish from Fantasia hung on the wall by the toilet. Even the wallpaper adds to the level of detail in the bathroom.

On the ledge of the vanity were also a mug, cups, and complimentary water. The cups were personalized to the resort, with one side having an ornate Mickey icon and the other having graphics of Mickey and Minnie and the resort wordmark.

Inside the closet, we found a small safe, a luggage rack, a storage cabinet, extra linens, and a rack and hangers for clothes. Hanging on the wall of the closet was a caddy that included a 10th anniversary gift bag and slippers.

Once you enter the room, there is a large window that faces the theme park and includes a view of Enchanted Storybook Castle. We can even hear the park music from our room. The window is framed in dusty blue curtains that have a sheer curtain underneath.

In the corner, there is a custom upholstered chair that has hidden Mickeys integrated into the pattern.

The two queen beds have white linens with a teal and maroon bed runner. The bedding also has several Mickey icons incorporated into the design. There are also several small Disney details added to the furniture.

The headboard has two designs: on the left side, there is an image of Tinker Bell, and on the right side, there is an image of Enchanted Storybook Castle in the wood. In between it a hidden Mickey made from curved wood with a mirror at the center between the connected headboards.

A cool feature the headboards have is fiber optic lights in the wood and the mirror. The lights are small, and they light up above the images in the wood and form the shape of Mickey in the mirror. The lights form fireworks above the castle and pixie dust above Tinker Belle.

Between the beds is a nightstand with a phone, clock, and notepad. There is also a knob-like feature with a small Tinker Bell detail in the center. Above the nightstand are light switches and outlets. The outlets include USB, USB-C, a three-prong outlet, and a two-prong outlet.

These same outlets were found throughout the room by the desk, the coffee maker, and in the bathroom.

Across from the beds are the pull-down bed and TV. When the bed is pulled down, it reveals an image of Mickey sleeping in his room.

Several other details are incorporated into the room, like the Mickey and friends music notes wallpaper border and a print of Mickey conducting an orchestra.

Next to the pull-down bed and TV is a table with a coffee maker and a water dispenser. There were also additional bottles of complimentary water by the station, and directions and descriptions were provided to go with the machines and coffee.

Below the counter were coffee and coffee supplies in the drawer, and a mini fridge in the cabinet.

By the window and next to the pull-down is a small desk with a mirror and a light. The desk doesn’t include any drawers and has a cushioned chair that fits underneath. The mirror features Minnie playing a harp in the bottom right corner. Above the desk are light switches and outlets.

In the room were several complimentary take-home items, such as this 10th anniversary Shanghai Disneyland Hotel plastic mug with Mickey and friends.

Another complimentary item we received was a 10th anniversary tin with Mickey and friends on the front. Inside, there was a small towel with the same design as the tin.

We also got a pack of character-shaped cards with lanyards and regular postcards in an envelope with Mickey and friends on the front that celebrated the 10th anniversary.

Another item is a mini puzzle. The front of the pack shows Mickey and Minnie holding hands in front of the Enchanted Storybook Castle, with the number 10 for the anniversary.
