If you’re planning to Drink Around the World at EPCOT, you may need to change your strategy depending on when your trip is, because one of the pavilions will be down a spot to grab a drink!
The most popular place to get a drink in the UK Pavilion is at the Rose & Crown Pub; however, this space will close for refurbishment on January 11th, 2027, and is expected to remain closed until later in 2027. So, if your trip falls between those dates, where should you grab a drink in the UK Pavilion instead?
Since the Rose & Crown Pub will be closed, there are actually only TWO places you’ll be able to get a drink in the UK. The first location is Yorkshire County Fish Shop, and their options are pretty limited. Here, you’ll have the choice of two beers: the Harp Lager – Ireland or the Sullivan’s Maltings Irish Red Ale, both for $12.75.
Your other option for drinks is at the UK Beer Cart. There are a couple more drinks here, but the menu is still quite limited. As of writing, you can get the Sparkling Cucumber-Gin Cocktail for $17.50, a seasonal hard cider for $12.75, a Harp Lager Draft for $12.75, or a BrewDog Punk IPA for $12.75. They may also offer a specialty beverage for the current EPCOT festival.
If none of these drinks are calling your name, don’t worry — there are still 10 more countries to grab drinks from!
Some of our favorites from around the world are the Avocado Margarita from La Cava del Tequila in the Mexico Pavilion, the slushes from Le Vins des Chefs de France and the Frosé from Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie, and the Viking Coffee from Kringla Bakeri Og Kafé.
And you can always replace a country with a drink from one of the festival food booths! During the closure of Rose & Crown, several festivals will take place, including the Festival of the Arts from January 15th to March 1st, and the Flower and Garden Festival from March 10th to May 31st, and it’s possible that the Food and Wine Festival could be going on during this closure as well since a specific reopening date has not been announced. While menus have not been released yet, you’re sure to find a drink you’ll like at one of the booths!
Finally, you have the option of grabbing a drink at the Refreshment Outpost or La Poutinerie. These spots are technically not in a country but still serve alcoholic beverages. The Refreshment Outpost offers a few cocktails, including the Mango Rum Freeze, the Frozen Brown Elephant, and the Outpost Lemonade, as well as beer and specialty festival beverages. La Poutinerie serves several selections of wine and beers, as well as some festival offerings.
