Michael Reyes, also known as Mr. Eyes, the former art director of Gideon’s Bakehouse, has announced his first Disney-sponsored art show based on his unique take on the Haunted Mansion characters.
This event will be held at Disney Springs Art of Animation on November 20-22, 2026. He will be there in person to sign his new limited-edition art based on the Hitchhiking Ghosts, Madame Leota, Sally Slater, the Opera Singer, the beheaded Knight, and the Ghost Host.
Hello, Friends. I’m proud to announce “With Ghoulish Delight,” my first signing event at The Art of Disney, Disney Springs. As noted, With Ghoulish Delight is an homage to a lifelong favorite and source of inspiration, the Haunted Mansion. Growing up a theme park kid, it’s been an absolute honor to produce these images, and I look forward to sharing them with you.
The first 250 attendees to the event will receive a free commemorative button.

In June 2026, Mr. Eyes took to Instagram with a lengthy letter to fans and followers explaining that he is stepping away from his projects at Gideon’s Bakehouse. In it, he explained that the departure is sad after over a decade of work with the brand, but that people should keep an eye out for some surprises in the future. It is now clear what one of the surprises is.
