Holiday treats, including caramel apples, popcorn, and cookies, are now available at the Main Street Confectionery and Big Top Souvenirs at Magic Kingdom.
Main Street Confectionery Holiday Treats
When we stopped in the old-fashioned candy shop on Main Street, U.S.A., on Monday, November 2, the holiday treats were being put out on display as the holiday season at Walt Disney World Resort starts next week.
In the photo above, the seasonal red, white, and green Holiday Peppermint Popcorn was shown next to a make-your-own popcorn creation. The newest arrival features popcorn, marshmallows, M&Ms, chocolate drizzle, sprinkles, and more.
Above, the photo showcases two caramel apples. The one in the back has chocolate and caramel covering the top of the Mickey-shaped apple, with red on the bottom, a white sugar trim in the middle, and two white M&M’s representing Santa’s suit.
The apple in the front is covered in chocolate and caramel, with the bottom half covered in M&M’s, white drizzle, and sprinkles.
Another treat features a Minnie Holiday Marshmallow Pop covered in sugar, a red chocolate bow, and red mini M&M’s. A gingerbread man and a red-and-white tin are also used as decorations.
More caramel chocolate apples are also available. The Minnie Reindeer Caramel Apple, shown in the back of the picture above, features a fully covered chocolate and caramel apple with a red bow, eyes and nose on the front, and reindeer ears on top.
The Minnie Holiday Caramel Apple in the front is also fully covered with white chocolate, with white sugar and red M&M’s on the bottom half. A red bow sits atop the apple.
Holiday Treats at Big Top Souvenirs
Even more holiday treats were available at Big Top Souvenirs, which is located in the Storybook Circus section of Fantasyland. In the above left photo, the Minnie Reindeer and Santa Mickey Caramel Apples are also available at this location.
The photos above also showcase two Mickey-shaped cookies: a green one with mini M&M’s used as holiday lights and one half covered in red icing with holly decor.
More treats available include a dark Mickey sandwich with a holly on the right ear, as well as two different Mickey-shaped rice cereal treats that have a snowman and Santa hat design.
On the blue tray behind the rice cereal treats is a cupcake with pastel yellow ears and a bow, along with snowflake and gold star sprinkles. A chocolate Mickey-shaped pop with a face made from thin icing is also available.
Over the last week, Disney has slowly started to put holiday decorations on displays throughout some parks, including garland and trees at Magic Kingdom, wreath decor and more at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and stars and lighting at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. More decorations are still to come.
