Just when we thought we’d covered all the new Disney merchandise in today’s Monday Merch Meeting, Disney went and surprised us with another collection! This time, Mickey Mouse and his friends are heading for the slopes with a new kids’ winter collection from Disney and Marc Jacobs.

The collection draws from vintage ski fashion, with cozy jackets, colorful accessories, and plenty of Mickey Mouse details we know and love. Each piece has a fun, retro feel. It’s a different look from the usual Disney character apparel, and there are some pretty cute pieces for kids who love Mickey and his pals.

If you’re shopping for warmer clothes for your little Disney fan, the jackets are a good place to start. The Daisy Puffer Jacket and Fleece Down Jacket are two of the featured styles. The cream-colored outerwear includes playful illustrations and patches, with some designs mixing fleece and quilted panels for a cozy winter look.

The collection also includes a Trompe L’oeil Minnie Sweater and Mickey Mouse Hoodie. The sweatshirts bring more of that vintage ski theme into the mix, with Mickey-inspired artwork, snowy mountain graphics, and colors that work nicely with the jackets. There are even coordinating pants and sneakers shown in the collection photos.

Of course, Disney couldn’t leave out the accessories! There’s a colorful Mickey Mouse Backpack featuring skiing artwork, along with a Minnie Mouse Crossbody Bag and a Knitted Beanie. The hats come in bold colors with Mickey Mouse and Marc Jacobs patches, making them an easy way to add a little Disney style to a winter outfit.

One thing I really like about this collection is that the Disney details aren’t limited to big character graphics across the front of every piece. Some of the designs use smaller illustrations, embroidered patches, and all-over prints, which give the clothing a different feel while still making it obvious that Mickey and friends are part of the fun.
