With 10 days to go until the holidays officially begin at Walt Disney World, crews have installed the Magic Kingdom Christmas tree.
Magic Kingdom Christmas tree

The tree is visible to guests arriving via ferryboat or Monorail. It’s about as tall as the Main Street, U.S.A. train station, towering over Town Square.

The tree has a giant gift box base. It’s decorated with giant popcorn garland, red bows, bells, candles, gingerbread cookies, bauble ornaments, and more. On top is a golden dimensional star.
Sections of the Christmas tree were seen staged backstage in late October.
More Christmas Decorations

Mickey and Minnie topiaries wearing Santa hats and scarves have also arrived at the park. They’re in a flowerbed at the entrance, along with some presents.

Many garlands and other decorations arrived on Monday. There are now garlands and wreaths across the back of the Main Street train station, the Main Street Fashion facade, Crystal Arts, the House of Magic facade, and Casey’s Corner.

Crews installed wreaths hanging over Main Street. These are attached to white decorative arms with bells at the ends. The wreaths have colorful ornaments and red velvet bows.

In the center of each wreath is a giant fake candle that lights up at night.

Crystal Palace has its own garlands wrapped around the entrance poles and hanging over the patio.
More decor arrived around the park yesterday, including trees at Tomorrowland Speedway and in Fantasyland.
Holidays at Walt Disney World officially run from November 13 to January 6. Offerings at Magic Kingdom include Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Frozen Holiday Surprise, and Jingle Cruise.
