The Saga Continues: EPCOT’s Spaceship Earth Cookie Looks Less Nightmare-Inducing Now!

Over the years we’ve seen some odd Disney snacks, including several that aren’t necessarily the prettiest flowers in the garden.

Pumpkin Spice Pretzel

There was the infamous Pumpkin Spice Pretzel, the moldy-looking Space Sandwich, and even candy based on poop! Then, just last week, the Salted Caramel Spaceship Earth Cookie at EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays got a special makeover. While it was still delicious, we just weren’t really sure what to think of the flesh-colored sprinkles and weird socks. It seems as though the new look wasn’t very popular, because today, the cookie changed yet again!

To refresh your memory, here’s a photo of what the Spaceship Earth Cookie looked like after its first makeover. Again, we simply ask: “Why?” We have no idea what the peppermint is for, and the socks make the cookie look like it’s walking — where the cookie is going, we aren’t sure.

But today, when we stopped by to check on our friend (we were honestly concerned about it), the cookie had an entirely new look!

There were a few different designs, but it seems that we’re back to the original silver sprinkles across the board! The cookie is now limited to one sugar decoration, and we had the choice of a stocking, holly and ivy, or an angel.

For our first cookie, we got the one with the angel on top. A LOT less scary and strange than the last design we had!

The one constant about this cookie is the taste. That salted caramel filling is delicious, so maybe it’s the REAL reason we have to keep ordering this one.

We also got a cookie with the holly and ivy design. These decorations are just simple sugar designs, but we definitely won’t complain about them since they’re a 125% upgrade from what we had last time!
