Christmas has arrived at Disney California Adventure, with festive decorations transforming Radiator Springs for the holiday season. From holiday garland and wreaths hanging above the streets to seasonal touches on familiar landmarks.
One of the most noticeable additions is the holiday garland strung between the wooden utility poles throughout Cars Land. The greenery is decorated with colorful Christmas lights and oversized ornaments, with large wreaths featuring “Happy Holidays” lettering hanging at intervals. Decorative snowflakes are also suspended alongside the garland, adding to the seasonal look.
The Cozy Cone Motel has received its own festive touches. Garlands decorate the motel’s exterior and surrounding area, complementing its signature orange traffic cone-inspired architecture and signage. The familiar motel sign remains a prominent landmark, now surrounded by holiday decorations.
Several holiday-themed movie posters have also appeared on the exterior walls near the Cozy Cone Motel. The fictional films include “Snowy,” “The Tugnuttercracker,” “Coolant Runnings,” and “The Santa Clutch.” Each poster puts a Cars-themed spin on familiar holiday entertainment, with automotive characters and wintry artwork.
Nearby, Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree has also received seasonal decorations. The attraction’s entrance sign is topped with a Santa hat, while wreaths made with tires and other junkyard-inspired materials are decorated with Christmas ornaments and bows.
The decorations help bring the annual Haul-idays celebration to life throughout Radiator Springs. Cars Land’s seasonal entertainment also includes Mater’s Jingle Jamboree, a holiday version of Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree featuring festive music, and Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl, which transforms Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters with holiday-themed music and dancing.
Disney previously confirmed that both attraction overlays would return for the 2026 holiday season, along with colorful lights, wreaths, bows, and other seasonal decorations throughout Cars Land.

Oo-soo’-ma-te, the bear outside of Grizzly River Run also got a festive look. The large bear can be seen swearing a red sweater that showcases white snowflakes, Christmas trees, and reindeer.
The 2026 holiday season at Disneyland Resort will bring decorations, entertainment, seasonal food, and special experiences to both theme parks. For a full look at what’s planned, see our coverage of New Costumes for Mickey and Friends, Plus More Holiday Offerings at Disneyland.
