Disney has explained the weather updates and policies for the upcoming holiday event, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Inclement Weather Policies

When guests search “weather updates and policies for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party” in the Walt Disney World Resort app, they can get information about what happens when inclement weather occurs.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will continue in the event of most inclement weather.

If Magic Kingdom experiences rain, thunder, or lightning, Disney explained that some attractions at the park will not be operational and that guests should check the attractions map for available experiences and wait times.

Guests can also ask a cast member for more information on how inclement weather may impact attractions and other offerings. However, holiday treat locations and gift shops will be available during inclement weather.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will begin on November 8, 2026, and run through December 22, 2026. Disney announced the dates back in June. Tickets for this event are currently on sale, and some parties have already sold out.

Over the past few days, Disney has unveiled more information about the party, including full menus and showtimes. Holiday decorations have also arrived at Magic Kingdom, including festive garland and the giant Christmas tree.
