We’ve been checking on the Magic Kingdom to note any new food, merch, or attraction updates. We headed into the magical theme park to see what’s new and what’s happening this Christmas week!
Magic Kingdom Food Update
Additional Breakfast Items
Disney World brought back some breakfast items for the increased holiday crowds. We tried out the new and returning breakfast items at the three participating quick-service locations and reviewed them all!
Friar’s Nook Breakfast
You can currently find items like Sausage and Gravy Tots, donut holes, and breakfast sandwiches! The additional menu items are available between now through January 2nd, 2021!

The Lunching Pad
Don’t mind us! We’re just over here mourning the fact that the Pepper Jack Pretzel has been removed from the menu at Lunching Pad. We were reunited with the cheesy, spicy pretzel when the restaurant reopened. The menu changed a few days ago and we’re pretty bummed one of our favorite items is missing!

Hopefully, the crowd-favorite snack will return in the future! We’ll keep our eyes peeled!

Magic Kingdom Attraction Update
Big Thunder Mountain
Crowds have been steadily increasing over the holidays. Due to physical distancing, Disney has had to get creative when placing the extended lines. We’ve seen the line for Peter Pan’s Flight continue all the way in to Columbia Harbour House. This week, we noticed the Big Thunder Mountain line extended into the Frontierland Train Station!

We’ll most likely see Disney make more adjustments like these in the future!
Magic Kingdom Update
Souvenir Delivery
We reported earlier that souvenir deliveries were being brought back for the holiday season. We’ve confirmed that you can now have your purchases be held at a location near the front gate while you’re visiting the theme parks. You’ll pick them up on your way out so you don’t have to lug your merch around all day.
Emporium
On a recent update, we learned you can pick-up the souvenirs between 2:00-4:00PM and 7:00PM – close. This policy is true for all four theme parks. Make sure you stop by between these times to get your merch! This service will last from now until January 2nd, 2021.
