With 2026 coming to an end, people have started to plan their 2027 Disney World vacations. We’ve already broken down the cheapest dates to go to Disney in 2027, and now there’s a whole new set of dates to add on to that! Disney just announced a new Disney World hotel discount for Florida residents, and we’re going to break it down for you.

From January 3rd to April 29th, 2027, a new Walt Disney World Florida resident room discount will be available, with savings of up to 30% on select Disney resort hotel stays. The savings will depend on which resort the guest is staying at, as well as the dates of their vacation.

You’ll find the deepest savings run from late February through April, while January and February stays are limited to Sunday to Thursday nights. The savings will be calculated against the price a non-Florida resident would pay for the same room. This is specifically how the offer window is split for the discount:

• January 3rd to February 25th, 2027: Savings apply to most Sunday to Thursday nights ONLY, at a lower rate.
• February 28th to April 29th, 2027: Savings apply to MOST nights.

Florida residents can save 30% for stays on most nights from February 28th to April 29th, 2027, or 25% for most Sunday to Thursday nights from January 3rd to February 25th, 2027.

Florida residents can save 20% for stays most nights from February 28th to April 29th, 2027, or 15% for most Sunday to Thursday nights from January 3rd to February 25th, 2027.

• Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort
• Disney’s All-Star Music Resort
• Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort
• Disney’s Art of Animation Resort – Standard Rooms
• Disney’s Pop Century Resort
• Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter
• Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside – Standard Location Rooms

If you’re a Florida resident and you’re looking to take advantage of this discount, there are a couple of rules you need to be aware of, including:

• Proof of Florida residency at check-in.
• Stays must be between 1 and 14 nights.
• You can’t combine this offer with other discounts or promotions.
• Extra per-adult charges may apply for more than 2 adults per room at Value, Moderate and Deluxe resorts, and in Studios at Deluxe Villa resorts.
• Length-of-stay requirements may apply.

Also, keep in mind that the number of discounted rooms is limited, so you’ll want to get to planning sooner rather than later.

Florida residents will also want to note that there are room types excluded from the discount, including:

• 3-Bedroom Villas
• Cabins at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins
• Bungalows, Tower 1-Bedroom Villas, 2-Bedroom Villas and Penthouses at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows
