Despite a previously scheduled closure, Mickey and Minnie Vacation Fun in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is officially staying open for the holiday season, albeit with shortened hours.

Mickey and Minnie Vacation Fun Stays for the Holidays

Originally, the Disney World app showed that the attraction would close starting October 28, with the assumption it would remain closed until early January so it could serve as a merchandise location for Jollywood Nights like last year.

However, as of October 29, Vacation Fun was still open for guests, and it’s now official that the Mickey Shorts Theater is staying open during the holiday season.

Starting today, November 7 — the first event date for Jollywood Nights — Vacation Fun will close at 3 p.m. on party nights. This means it’s likely still being used in some capacity for Jollywood Nights. We noted in late October that Cast Members were exiting guests out of the theater’s entrance, instead of the usual exit with the photo ops, and last year, Jollywood Nights merchandise was located in the Potatoland photo-op area of the exit.

Otherwise, Vacation Fun follows its regular schedule as posted in the My Disney Experience app.
