Arendelle is getting into the holiday spirit with festive Christmas decor installed throughout World of Frozen in Disney Adventure World at Disneyland Paris.
World of Frozen Christmas Decor
The land’s large Christmas tree stands in a landscaped bed surrounded by black railings, with oversized presents arranged around its base. Light blue bows cover the branches, joined by smaller burgundy bows and strings of lights.
The ornaments have a handcrafted appearance that complements Arendelle’s Norwegian-inspired buildings. Painted baubles and bells feature shades of blue, purple, burgundy, and gold, with snowflakes, stars, dots, and floral designs decorating their surfaces.
Other ornaments resemble slices of wood, complete with bark around the edges and colorful stars painted in their centers. Straw-style stars and snowflakes are tied together with bright pink, blue, and red bindings.
Oversized gingerbread-style ornaments depict Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Sven, Olaf, and Oaken with icing-like details outlining their faces and clothing.
White decorative candles sit near the gingerbread figures in cylindrical holders with a wood-grain appearance and crisscrossing red cord. Red-and-white candy canes hang alongside them.
Painted wooden-style goat ornaments add more rustic details to the tree. One gray goat has curled golden horns, a matching beard, and rows of pink triangles across its body. Other goats feature different colors and geometric patterns.
Large blue, magenta, and red gift boxes surround the trunk. Their bows and ribbons repeat the blue and burgundy colors used on the tree, with some packages also featuring natural tan ribbon. A patterned collar around the tree’s base features blue, purple, and yellow geometric designs.
A six-pointed snowflake made to resemble bundles of wooden sticks tops the tree. Blue bands with burgundy trim wrap around each of its arms, continuing the colors used throughout the display.
Elsewhere, holiday banners hang from lampposts near the lighthouse and along the waterfront. Each banner has a split burgundy-and-blue background, a purple border, and gold trim outlining its swallowtail shape.
A large golden snowflake fills the banner’s center. Smaller illustrations depict blue bells and straw goats wrapped with red ribbon. A band of pale blue snowflakes and geometric shapes runs across the top.
Longer versions of the banners decorate the entrance to Rencontre Royale, the royal encounter location. These feature the same central snowflake and paired goats, followed by three blue bells that decrease in size toward the bottom.
Evergreen garlands decorate the village buildings, carrying the tree’s rustic ornament theme across the land.
On a tall pink building with green trim, garlands follow both sides of the steep gable, meeting near the roof’s peak. Another stretch runs horizontally across the façade below the upper-story window.
Small painted goats, colorful bells, berry clusters, and golden grain sprigs fill the greenery. Pairs of larger goat ornaments hang from blue ribbons at either end of the horizontal garland.
The window box above combines pink, red, and pale yellow flowers with evergreen branches. Pink berries, grain sprigs, miniature goats, and bells decorate its front, extending the holiday display beneath the white-framed windows.
Double-lantern lampposts throughout the village feature more evergreen decor arranged across their horizontal supports. Long burgundy ribbons trail down beside the lanterns, while blue and purple bells hang beneath the greenery.
These decorations continue through the village near Frozen Ever After, with Elsa’s Ice Palace and the snow-covered North Mountain rising in the distance.
A larger decorative stage now stands along the waterfront near the Christmas tree. Its low wooden-style enclosure features curved red-and-gold edging and panels decorated with layered red, yellow, and purple starbursts. Several banded bells hang from the upper bound of the stage’s outer walls.
Inside the enclosure, stacked wooden-style crates and barrels provide platforms for straw-style goats wrapped in red bindings. Goat illustrations also decorate the crate faces, with colorful triangles and geometric borders trimming the crates and barrels.
