As part of Arendelle’s holiday celebrations, a Christmas Carol show starring Anna, Elsa, and the “living” animatronic Olaf is now performing in World of Frozen at Disney Adventure World.
Arendelle Carolers in World of Frozen
The Arendelle Carolers (La Chorale de Noël d’Arendelle) consist of three female and two male singers, who are later joined by Olaf, Anna, and Elsa. The quintet performs their 15-minute show four to five times a day, covering the following songs in both English and French:
- “Let the Sun Shine On (Laisse le soleil briller)”
- “Deck the Halls”
- “In Summer (En été)”
- “That Time of Year (La fin d’année)”
- “When We’re Together (Quand on est ensemble)”
- “Love Is an Open Door (L’amour est un cadeau)”
- “Ring in the Season (Le temps des fêtes)”
After their first song, the choir suddenly realizes their conductor is missing!
The conductor is, of course, Olaf, who toddles to the stage as quickly as his animatronic legs can carry him while apologizing and excusing himself. This is the famous “living,” free-walking Olaf animatronic.
After joining the choir onstage, Olaf leads them in a joyous song-and-dance rendition of his signature tune “In Summer.” He also walks across the stage, sings, and “conducts” with his arms.
The carolers’ singing attracts the attention of Queens Anna and Elsa, who say they were so moved by the beautiful music that they had to leave the castle to hear it in person.
They congratulate Olaf on being a wonderful conductor, and the carolers invite everyone to partake in the most beloved Arendelle Christmas tradition: singing together!
At the end of the show, the choir departs first, followed by Anna and Elsa, and finally Olaf.
