A Reel shared by a Cast Member appears to confirm that the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party costumes have met the same fate as the original Not-So-Scary Halloween Party costumes.
‘RIP to Another Legendary Costume’

The Reel was posted by alexasmagicalife on Instagram. In the video, she smiles while holding the striped bow headband. The text “RIP to another legendary costume” is overlaid on the video.

After saying, “Merry Christmas, everybody!” and as the audio track plays, “I hate that I remember, I wish I could forget” (from “Last Christmas” by Ariana Grande), she transforms into the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Cast Member costume we all know and love, but which she is implying is now gone.
Tellingly, the caption on the video reads:
Can we make this one better than the Halloween one plz?

The caption refers to the unpopular change to the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Cast Member costumes, which also happened this year.
We’ll be at the first night of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom tomorrow, so we’ll see firsthand if the rumors are true.
