New for Jollywood Nights this year, the Checkin’ It Twice Lounge in Animation Courtyard invites you to step inside, sip, socialize, and soak up the holiday atmosphere.
Checkin’ It Twice Lounge
The Checkin’ It Twice Lounge in Animation Courtyard features specialty beverages, a live DJ, and entertainment throughout the evening, making it the perfect spot to unwind between shows and attractions.
The entrance is in Animation Courtyard, marked by glowing green and red balloons and piles of oversized silver Christmas ornaments. Menu boards showcase the four exclusive drink offerings (one non-alcoholic).
Inside the lounge, a DJ is keeping the vibes festive from a stage decorated with multicolored Christmas trees, an oversized naughty-and-nice list, and several old-fashioned, light-up, blow-molded snowman, reindeer, and Santa decorations.
Exclusive Drinks
Lump of Coal – $11
Ghost Spicy Blanco Tequila, Lime, and Spicy Agave with a Salt and Pepper Rim
Wow, this drink is HOT. Between the ghost pepper tequila and spicy agave, this hits hard right away. It does have some good earthy flavor if you get past the spice, and letting the ice melt a bit does dilute the heat a little. If you love a super spicy margarita, you’ll want this.

Fizz the Season – $11
Domaine Ste. Michelle Brut with Vanilla, G.E. Massenez Crème de Cassis de Dijon Liqueur, and Edible Glitter
In contrast to the fiery margarita, this is a very pleasant beverage, blending vanilla with brut and blackberry flavors in a fantastic combo. It’s a light, sparkling, and refreshing, but very flavorful wine-based cocktail.

Snow-hopper – $9.50
Bols Crème de Cacao White Liqueur, Bols Crème de Menthe Liqueur, and Half & Half topped with Chocolate Curls
Here’s one for the naughty list, and not in the fun way: this drink is absolutely disgusting. It’s two sweet liqueurs poured together with cream, trying to mimic a peppermint white chocolate martini in the worst way. That’s what you get: super sweet, super creamy, and no alcohol flavor at all. This is a hard pass from us.

Candy Cane Cooler – $5.49
Minute Maid Premium Lemonade with Mint Syrup, Pomegranate, and Sweet Cream topped with Crushed Peppermint (non-alcoholic)
After the diabolical Snow-hopper drink, we needed something to redeem peppermint. Thankfully, this non-alcoholic refresher delivered with a phenomenal mix of fruity, minty flavors that was a delight to sip from start to finish. It’s delicious, festive, and a fantastic mocktail. Note that it does start to get a little overly sweet as the candy cane pieces melt into the drink, but if you drink it fast (which you will!) it’s not a problem.
