Construction on the new home for all things candy-coated chocolate at Disney Springs has hit a milestone!

Construction work has really ramped up in the last two weeks on the M&M’s Store that will be located next to Splitsville Luxury Lanes in Disney Springs’ West Side. The picture above was taken on December 31st.

The building has now received a glossy yellow and white treatment on its facade. Wiring that will eventually illuminate large, brightly-colored M&M‘s can be seen on the white portion of the exterior.

The biggest news (literally the biggest) is that the store’s sign, a HUGE red M&M, has been installed.

Workers are present at the building today. If the progress achieved in the last two weeks is an indication of the speed that we’ll see going forward, we might not be too far away from an opening date.
