PHOTOS: ANOTHER Ride Gets a Plexiglass Makeover in Disney World

Nowadays, plexiglass in Disney World is becoming about as commonplace as cupcakes and popcorn buckets!

More and more attractions have undergone plexiglass makeovers, both in ride queues and on the rides themselves. And the latest attraction to experience a plexiglass-addition is Pirates of the Caribbean in Magic Kingdom!

In previous months since reopening, Pirates of the Caribbean adhered to safety protocols and social distancing measures by spreading out its queue and spacing out parties on the boats.

It didn’t have plexiglass initially, but that has officially changed for the iconic attraction!

On our most recent jaunt to the Caribbean, we noticed that the indoor portion of the line now has plexiglass dividers separating the zig-zagging lines.

The covered outdoor portion still doesn’t have plexiglass, but remains spaced out with floor markers.

But once we made our way into the inner sanctum, where the line gets tighter and closer, Disney has added a series of plexiglass to ensure guests maintain distance from each other.

We’ll be on the lookout for more plexiglass to pop up at other Disney World attractions, so stay tuned to DFB for the latest Disney news.
