‘Celebrate Soulfully’ at Disney Springs During Black History Month

Guests visiting Disney Springs this February will have the opportunity to take part in a new Black History Month event called Celebrate Soulfully.

During Celebrate Soulfully, Black culture and heritage will be highlighted throughout the entertainment complex in a variety of ways. For three nights each week, the entertainment on the stages located across Disney Springs will focus on different genres of music: Motown Mondays, Jazz Thursdays and Smooth Sundays.

Visual storytellers will also be included in the celebration, such as Bee Harris’ art display near The Lego Store that was inspired by Disney and Pixar’s Soul. Artists Bianca Pastel, Arrington Porter and Cory Van Lew will also have their artwork featured during the event.

Over 60 Disney Springs dining locations will be offering special, limited-time food items during Celebrate Soulfully.

Elsewhere on Disney property, during their Movie Under the Stars showings, select Disney resorts will feature movies that honor Black culture, like Princess and the Frog.

As previously reported, the new The Soul of Jazz exhibit will open to guests in EPCOT‘s the American Adventure on Monday, February 1st.
