And one of those spots has been VERY high-demand with multi-hour virtual queues each day. We’re talking about Gideon’s Bakehouse. This sweet stop is known for massive and delicious cookies and cake slices. Now, there’s a SECRET treat that you can only snag today — but you’ll need to know the secret code.
This morning, Gideon’s Bakehouse announced that today (February 2nd) is a SECRET SLICE DAY! This means that there’s a secret item NOT on display at Gideon’s locations that you have to know a secret phrase to snag. These secret items are typically one day only, NEVER to return.

Today, that secret slice is the Coffee Toffee Chocolate Cake! The cake is made with the same flavors of the January-exclusive Coffee Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookie with coffee buttercream, locally roasted espresso, toffee bits, and chocolate cake!

Welp, WE checked the Instagram so we strolled in this morning and laid down that secret code. Sure enough, we got our very own slice of the Coffee Toffee Chocolate Cake!

This cake was super, super sweet but the bitterness of the coffee helped to cut it a little bit. You know we’re LIVING for that icing to cake ration, but you’ll need to like coffee to like this slice!
