In case you missed it, there’s a brand new exhibit over in EPCOT at the American Adventure Pavilion!
Soul of Jazz
It’s called The Soul of Jazz: An American Adventure, and it features a lot of cool exhibits about the history of jazz music!
And the exhibit now has something that once belonged to one of the most legendary jazz musicians to have ever lived, Charlie “Bird” Parker. Right now, you can go to EPCOT and see one of Parker’s saxophones!!!

Thanks to Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley’s Instagram, we got some insight on the importance of this instrument. This rare saxophone, which is made of plastic, was used by Parker in the 1940s when he — along with trumpeter Dizzy Gillespie — went on to invent “bebop,” a kind of music that led the way for modern jazz!

The American Jazz Museum in Kansas City, Missouri has allowed Disney to display the saxophone at EPCOT.

Disney is celebrating black history month with special music, food, art, and more. We’ve already seen the Soul murals at Disney Springs, but guests can also expect to see special musical performances, as well as menu items inspired by Soul and The Princess and the Frog there, too.
