To celebrate their birthday, Disney just announced some BIG plans for the park coming SOON!
The Buena Vista Street portion of California Adventure has been open to guests offering limited shopping and dining. BUT, starting mid-March, Disney California Adventure — the whole park — will be opened to guests as a special limited-time ticket experience.

Here’s the big part to note — this experience will NOT include attractions. The Buena Vista Street experience has been limited to the front areas of the park, but this will open up ALL of California Adventure to guests walking around. It WILL be a ticketed event, so guests can’t just stroll on in to go check out the park. Details on how and when that will begin have yet to be shared. The experience will include food and drink offerings from around Disneyland Resort, shopping, and some entertainment. The scale and exact offerings have yet to be announced. This experience will be bringing back nearly 1000 Cast Members to the park!
Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure
It’s worth noting this will include favorites from AROUND THE RESORT…this means Disneyland too! Many of the beloved Disneyland treats that guests haven’t been able to get in nearly a year could possibly be available at the event! Could we see Mickey Beignets? Fun flavors of Dole Whip? Maybe a fun funnel cake? We’ll find out soon! We expect more details will be announced soon, so check back and we’ll let you know as soon as information is shared!
