There are LOTS of places you could stay at during your Walt Disney World vacation.

Do you choose a Disney hotel? A non-Disney hotel that is on property? A Disney Springs hotel? Or something else? Yesterday, we shared the news about a new hotel that’s opening up in the nearby Flamingo Crossings Town Center. But, today we’ve got an update about a new hotel that will soon be opening just a quick walk away from EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios — The Walt Disney World Swan Reserve!

The Swan Reserve is a new addition at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort which will be located right next to the existing Swan and Dolphin hotels. The hotel is from Marriott and will be 14-stories tall, and will have OVER 300 guest rooms, 149 suites, and 2 presidential suites all of which will have floor-to-ceiling windows.

The hotel will also have a new signature Mediterranean restaurant, a grab-n-go cafe, a pool area with an elevated deck and fire pit, a state-of-the-art fitness center, lots of meeting spaces and 2 ballrooms, a business center, and more. There will also be a new exclusive rooftop space called Vue that will have some seriously incredible views of Walt Disney World Resort.

The resort will be a quick walk away from EPCOT, and a slightly longer walk to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Guests of the Swan Reserve will also be able to take complimentary boat transportation to both parks. AND guests of the Swan Reserve will have full access to the amenities at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin including the Mandara Spa, the pools, and special Disney benefits.

We’ve been keeping a close eye on all of the construction going on at the Swan Reserve. We’ve also gotten a sneak peek at the rooms, a look at the view from the top of the hotel, and more.

The resort is now accepting reservations starting September 1st, 2021. When we went on the website, we did see a number of different room types available beginning September 1st, 2021.

Right now, the Swan Reserve website on Marriott still states that it is opening in July of 2021. But, that appears to be older information. A recent email from the Swan and Dolphin has also confirmed that the resort is accepting reservations beginning September 1st, 2021.

So, if you’ve been looking for a new resort to stay at and you want to just steps away from EPCOT, this might be a great option. We’ll keep an eye out for more information about it and let you know what we find.
