The Seven Seas Food Festival has finally made its return back to Sea World. This event is a must-do for anyone considering attending Sea World. SEVEN SEAS FOOD FESTIVAL
The Seven Seas Food Festival has made its grand return to Sea World, yet again! Set sail on the oceans of flavor every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from now to May 9th. At The Seven Seas Food Festival you will find amazing delightful dishes from more than 200 distinct offerings. This event offers a wide variety of outdoor booths from a delicious mix of Asian, Latin, European, Polynesian, North American cuisine and so much more! You can explore more than 50 fresh global cuisines offerings, over 75 wine and cocktail selections as well as 75 craft beers. While you’re enjoying all of you luxurious foods, you can also add a taste of 28 headline acts from a mix of country, rock, latin and 90s throwback sounds.
ALL AMERICAN MARKET
For our first stop on our Oceans of flavor trip, we found ourselves at the All American Market. After browsing through the vast menu we decided to get the Brisket Tachos and Lobster Mac & Cheese. The Brisket Tachos are a slowly cooked brisket, Crispy potato tots and Kraft Heinz Mayochup, which is priced at $8.99. Upon first taste of this dish, I would have to say it was one of the best flavored briskets I’ve ever had but however it was very dried out. For our second item from the All American Market, we have the Lobster, White Cheddar Kraft Mac N Cheese, which is priced at $9.49. This delicious cup of Lobster Mac and Cheese is quite wonderful, we fully recommend this if you’re out at the event!
POLYNESIAN MARKET
On our second stop of the day, we set sail to the Polynesian Market where we picked up a Spicy Tuna Poké Bowl. This delicious bowl contains Seaweed, Edamame, Avocado, Cucumbers, Wonton Crisps, Chili Dressing and Salmon Roe, this is priced at $8.99. With multiple other items on the menu, this dish stood out to us the most because of the diversity of things put together in the Poké Bowl. Upon first taste of the Spicy Tuna Poké Bowl, it definitely does have a spice to it, so if you’re not a fan of spicy food this may not be for you. This bowl was pretty good, if you’re a fan of Poké, raw fish and spice, we think you will really enjoy this dish.
ITALIAN MARKET
From the Tiramisu to the Palermo Fontina Cheese Meatballs, the Italian Market has it all. From our stop at the Italian Market we couldn’t settle with just one thing. So, we decided to pick up the Palermo Fontina Cheese Meatballs for only $7.49 and Marinated Bocconcini Mozzarella, Fennel & Gigante Bean Salad, which is priced at $5.99. The Mozzarella & White Bean Salad has a very generous sized portion but upon first taste it was absolutely delicious. If you can order this as a full size, we totally would. As for the Cheese Meatballs they were also fantastic! The Italian Market here at the Seven Seas Food Festival did not let us down, we fully recommended stopping by here on your trip to this event.
ASIAN MARKET
Next on our oceans of flavor trip, we find ourselves at the Asian Market. The Asian Market has many delicious dishes to try from the Giant Tempura Prawns, Crispy Pork Belly Bites to the sweater side of things such as the Bingsu Salted Vanilla Ice Cream. But we were getting full from tasting so many foods so we decided to get a drink and save room for dessert. So, we decided to get the Sparkling Pear (Non-alcoholic) drink which is Pear Nectar, Ginger Ale, and Lemon. With this refreshing drink you also get an edible straw that is lime flavored. The drink itself is very good but being Ginger Ale, it’s not so sparkling.
SWEETS MARKET
Last but not least on our trip around the Seven Seas, we end the day by picking up a treat from the Sweets Market. This booth offers 3 different types of cheesecake waffle cones from the new White Chocolate Raspberry, Rainbow Swirl to the Bananas Fosters Cheesecake. Out of the 3 cheesecake cones, we decided to go with the Rainbow Swirl, which is priced at $6.49. Upon first taste, you would expect this to have a swirl of flavor being rainbow but it actually just tastes like cheesecake, nothing more. We thought this was good with the cone but this definitely needs more flavor to it rather than just the cheesecake flavor.
