Today, Disney has treated us to additional information regarding their plans for the celebration of Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary.

“The World’s Most Magical Celebration” will kick off on October 1st, 2021, and will last for 18 months. Cinderella Castle will decorated with ornaments, a special anniversary crest and gold bunting.

Mickey and Minnie’s costumes for the big anniversary will feature varying shades of EARidescent purple fabric.

Each park icon will receive a new look via projection technology for the occasion.

Today’s details are in addition to last night’s sneak peek preview which revealed bits and pieces of possible projections on the Disney World park icons, as well as glimpses of Mickey and Minnie’s special costumes for the celebration.
