REVIEW: A New Disney Starbucks Drink Takes Us Over the Rainbow!

Sometimes you just need an extra boost in the morning or middle of the day!

Starbucks!

When we’re at Disney Springs, we love heading to one of the two Starbucks locations there for a quick pick-me-up. Not only are they convenient, but they often have some unique location-specific drinks, including the Robert Brownie Jr. (yes, that really was its name) and the Melted Snowman.

So we hopped over to the Starbucks at Disney Springs West Side and saw some new St. Patrick’s Day drinks! We decided to embrace our inner leprechaun and choose one for our morning pick-me-up!

St. Patrick’s Day menu!

You guys — this was a tough choice. We didn’t know whether to go with the matcha drink or something else. But in the end, we decided on the prettiest drink, the Over The Rainbow. And seriously, this thing is SO pretty. Look at all those colors! A rainbow in a plastic cup!

A Rainbow of Colors

This refresher is made with Kiwi Lemonade and Passion Tea. It was sort of like drinking summer out of a cup, if summer were both sweet and tart with a hint of fruity. We also liked the added touch of delicious dried kiwi on top — yummy AND Instagram-worthy.

That’s dried kiwi on top. Nom.

But the most surprising thing about this drink is that it gave us WAY more of a caffeine jolt than we expected — a Cast Member told us it had about the same amount of caffeine as one of their coffees! So not only is this a light refreshing summer drink, but it’s also a great way to start our mornings! It’s a win-win!

That first sip feeling? Oh, yeah!

If you’re looking for something with less caffeine, you might need to skip this one. However, it’s a great alternative to morning coffee. Especially in a hot and humid Florida when just the idea of a hot coffee makes you sweat and you’re not in the mood for a cold brew or frappuccino. This one is ONLY available at the West Side Starbucks location at Disney Springs, so if you want to grab one, you can get it there for $5.75.

We’re always trying out new snacks and drinks we find at Disney World, so stay tuned for more reviews!
