When you can’t ride Slinky Dog Dash in Hollywood Studios, you can still channel your inner Toy Story fan by creating your very own Slinky Dog paper link chain!
What you’ll need:
- Brown, white, black construction paper
- Googly eyes
- Glue, Tape, or Stapler, and Scissors
Instructions:
- Cut out evenly-sized strips of brown construction paper. You want to make sure the strips are long enough to create a chain link. Cut out as many as you like, but aim for at least 5 or 6 links!
- Loop each of the links one at a time to create one long chain, and secure each link with some glue, tape, or a staple!
- For the face, cut out a circular piece of brown construction paper and attach it to one end of the chain. Again, make sure all the proportions are correct!
- Cut out brown, black, and white pieces of paper to make his ears, eyes, and nose! Attach with glue or with tape. For bonus points, make a green collar! Use this photo below for a reference:
Want to be even more imaginative? Your Slinky Dog doesn’t have to be brown! Use any color of the rainbow to create your very own unique paper chain link. And obviously, you can make him as long as you want. If you have enough construction paper, maybe use this as an opportunity to create a paper link countdown to your next Disney World vacation!
