4 Snacks and 2 New Drinks Have Arrived in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Entrance

And, we’ve got plenty of updates to share with you! So, what are you waiting for? Let’s dive right on in!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Food Updates

In honor of the debut of Raya and the Last Dragon on March 5th, Disney’s Animal Kingdom has rolled out a bunch of themed treats across the park!

Isle of Java

The Baby Tuk Tuk Mousse might be too cute to eat (might is the key word here 😉), but we had to try it anyways when we spotted it at the Isle of Java and Creature Comforts!

Baby Tuk Tuk Mousse

The five-spice mousse is placed on top of a chocolate cake with a chocolate velvet shell and crispy chocolate pearls for the finishing touches.

Baby Tuk Tuk Mousse (look at all that mousse!)

Even though the Baby Tuk Tuk Mousse is adorable, there is a WHOLE lot of mousse packed into this treat for $5.99!

Read our review of the Baby Tuk Tuk Mousse here!

Dino Bite Snacks

If you can’t get enough of Baby Tuk Tuk (we can’t), you can also find the Baby Tuk Tuk Ice Cream Sundae at Dino Bite Snacks. Disney calls it a “yummy sundae built for speed” with its chai spiced caramel cake, chai caramel sauce, vanilla ice cream, green tea cake crumbs, salted caramel crispy pearls, and an edible image of Baby Tuk Tuk.

Baby Tuk Tuk Ice Cream Sundae

The flavors are a bit different on this treat, so be ready for a kick of matcha whenever you try it in Disney’s Animal Kingdom for $6.99.

Take a look at our review of the Baby Tuk Tuk Ice Cream Sundae!

Dino Bites also has an exclusive cookie for Annual Passholders as a bunch of Passholder experiences also arrive in the parks!

Passholder Cookie

The soft sugar cookie is decorated with colorful Mickey sprinkles and a Donald Passholder Magnet image on top with some  vanilla frosting for $4.04!

Take a look at our review of the Donald Passholder Cookie here!

Anandapur Ice Cream Truck

Last, but not least, the final Raya treat in the park is over at the Anandapur Ice Cream Truck. And, my, is it BEAUTIFUL! The Mighty Mist Soft-Serve Ice Cream is basically Instagram ready with its colorful hues agains the backdrop of Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Mighty Mist Soft Serve

The soft serve is a swirl of strawberry and vanilla ice cream on top of a cone that’s been dipped in blue-colored white chocolate and rolled in sparkling sugar for an extra enchanting appearance.

Mighty Mist Soft Serve

It may be very pretty, but the Mighty Mist Soft-Serve Ice Cream is also very messy for $5.49! We recommend packing wipes or snagging some napkins before you pick up this treat!

Check out our review of Animal Kingdom’s new colorful soft serve!

Restaurantosaurus Lounge

After all those snacks, you can wash them down with the four specialty drinks for Annual Passholders on the Restaurantosaurus Lounge‘s menu. You can sip on the Tyrannosaurus Wreck for $12, Fossil Fuel for $12, Pterodactyl Punch for $10.50, and non-alcoholic Triceraberry Pop for $4.99.

Tyrannosaurus Wreck and Fossil Fuel

We picked up the Tyrannosaurus Wreck mixed up with Blue Curaçao, Crème de Cassis, Diplomatico Rum, Tito’s Vodka, Hendrick’s Gin, Sweet & Sour, and a splash of Sprite

Tyrannosaurus Wreck

…and the Fossil Fuel that included Midori, Tito’s Vodka, Sweet & Sour, and Lime Juice in the cocktail!

Fossil Fuel

The drinks had a kick of tartness and were pretty boozy! So, if you like a strong drink with great flavor, you’ll want to head over to Restaurantosaurus ASAP!

Ice Cream Carts

When we were near Pizzafari, we noticed that the ice cream trucks were selling Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Biscuits for breakfast!

Conservation Station

As you wait for the premiere of the film, you can actually learn how to draw the characters from Raya and the Last Dragon over at The Animation Experience at Conservation Station! Guests can make their own Baby Tuk Tuk drawing AND get a behind-the-scenes sneak peek at the inspiration for the characters from Kelly Marie Tran (voice of Raya) and Awkwafina (voice of Sisu).

Hi, Tuk Tuk!

The showtimes at the Conservation Station are running during 45-minute increments, starting at 10AM and ending at 4:45PM before Disney’s Animal Kingdom closes for the day.

Showtimes for The Animation Experience

We’re sure your Tuk Tuk drawing is going to look JUST as cute as Disney’s!

Discovery Island Stage

But, that’s not all the Raya entertainment in the park! We’ve been keeping our eye on the progress of the massive sand sculpture inspired by the film. Guests can spot carved images of the characters and the film’s logo now that the display is finished on the Discovery Island Stage!

Look at all that sand!

The sculpture was completed by a team of 2 artists as they constructed it from scratch for over 24 hours in the park.

‘Raya and the Last Dragon’ Sand Sculpture

Raya, Tuk Tuk, Sisu the last dragon, and the Ongi never looked better!

Find out all the details of the Raya-themed experiences here!
