There are a lot of changes coming to Disney World this fall.
Perhaps the BIGGEST change is that we won’t be hangin’ with our villainous Disney pals this Halloween. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has been canceled this year. Now, those who have purchased tickets to the event will receive refunds.
Some guests with 2020 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets have received emails discussing the cancellation of the event and the way that refunds will be handled. If you have purchased tickets, you will receive your refund in a specific way based on how you purchased your ticket.
If you purchased a ticket via credit card, Disney will process a refund to your original form of payment. If you purchased a ticket via Disney Gift Card or Disney Rewards Dollars, Disney will email you a new digital Disney Gift Card for the amount paid. If you purchased a ticket via cash, Disney will call you to discuss refund options (potentially a mailed check or Disney Gift Card).
If you purchased your ticket through Disney, no action on your part is required at this time. If you booked outside of Disney, contact your Travel Professional for assistance.
Keep an eye on DFB for all of the latest updates on modified experiences in a reopened Disney World!
