REVIEW: EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival’s Froot Loops Shake

In my personal pantheon of all-time favorite sugary cereals, a big bowl of Froot Loops is eclipsed only by that of Fruity Pebbles. For the record, Trix cereal ranks third. So, when I saw that the EPCOT chefs had brought a sweet treat to Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival that involved my beloved Froot Loops, I knew that I needed to give it a try.

The Donut Box, which debuted at 2019’s Food and Wine Festival, has been transformed for this year’s Flower & Garden Festival into EPCOT Sunshine Griddle. The spot features all sorts of brunch-themed favorites, including today’s shake, which sells for $4.50.

Sometimes there’s just nothing else that helps make a day better like a vanilla milkshake. Add the super sweet, fruit-adjacent taste of Froot Loops into the mix, and you’ve got a winner.

As you might suspect, this shake is incredibly sweet. And, to my surprise and delight, the cereal pieces topping the shake were able to maintain their crunchiness. This beverage was perfect, and I enjoyed every last slurp.

There’s a bit of a texture to the shake that I’m thinking can be attributed to chunks of Froot Loops used in the shake. The playful blue color of the shake is simply to provide a bit of whimsy, which this drink has in spades.

Have you tried the Froot Loops Shake? If so, please let me know your thoughts in the comment section below. If you are attending this year’s festival, will the shake be on your must-try list?
