Review: New GIANT DONUTS and Latte Art in Disney World!

We’re not making one stop in Disney World for some big ol’ DONUTS and coffee to kick off the weekend… we’re making TWO.

Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea Company in Disney Springs

Why? Because we spotted NEW Joffrey’s donuts in TWO different Joffrey’s locations, and simply couldn’t decide between the Toasted Coconut and the festive St. Patrick’s Day Donut (which we matched up with some Latte Art, while we were at it)! So… we grabbed BOTH. Let’s dig into some DONUTS!

Our first stop is in Disney Springs where we tried the St. Patrick’s Day Donut at Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea Company. And to go with it?

Irish Cream Latte and St. Patrick’s Day Donut

A Latte (which we ordered flavored with Irish Cream, of course!) spruced up with shamrocks thanks to a lil’ Latte Art to twin with our treat!

Latte topped with Seasonal Latte Art

Remember, THIS is one of the few Joffrey’s stops where you can decorate your coffee with Disney characters, seasonal flair, and more… like YOUR FACE, for instance!

Paired together, they look pretty cute, don’t they?

And from the latte to the donut, everything tasted great, to boot. However, the donut itself is your basic donut topped with vanilla icing and shamrock sprinkles. So, flavor-wise, it’s nothing super unique.

St. Patrick’s Day Donut

But — like all the donuts we’ve enjoyed at Joffrey’s — it IS sweet, fresh, and fluffy, so no complaints!

We were expecting something a little different, though, from our next Joffrey’s destination… Royal Anandapur Tea Company in Animal Kingdom park! (By the way, if you didn’t know this is a Joffrey’s location… now you do!)

Royal Anandapur Tea Company in Animal Kingdom

This is where we spotted the new-to-us Toasted Coconut Donut among the options.

Toasted Coconut Donut

Take a classic Joffrey’s donut and top it with toasted COCONUT flakes?! Yes, please!

Clearly, we had high hopes going in. But with that said…

Toasted Coconut Donut

We were somewhat disappointed to find that the coconut flavor barely came through at all, so it really was just like getting your basic donut topped with vanilla icing.

Toasted Coconut Donut

We would’ve loved for the taste of coconut to be more prominent, maybe even topped with coconut-flavored icing instead of the vanilla… but nope. Again, there’s nothin’ wrong with a classic Joffrey’s donut! But if you’re looking for a more unique flavor, maybe try the fabulous Boston Cream Pie Donut over this one.

In both instances, the donuts are $4.99. And, as we’ve made clear, you’ll never see us shy away from a Joffrey’s donut! If you want to know everywhere around Disney World where you can find ’em, just click here!
