What’s New At Disney’s Hollywood Studios: New Ride Photo Feature and a Sweet & Salty Snack

Hello to all our DFB Friends! We hope you’re having a magical day!

Welcome to the Hollywood Tower Hotel.

We got to do the thing we love the most, which was wandering around Disney World, most notably Disney’s Hollywood Studios. And we’ve tracked everything that’s popped up as new since we were last there. So let’s get started with some updates!

Hollywood Studios Food Updates

Rosie’s All-American Cafe

We got to try out a brand new treat at Rosie’s All-American Cafe and it was a sweet and salty hit! It’s called the Snacking Sandwich Cookie and it’s basically a massive Marshmallow squished between two Shortbread Cookies. It’s also dipped in Chocolate and topped with Pretzel and Potato Chip Pieces and Salt. Oh, my!!!

Sweet AND savory!!!

This is pretty much every snack we like in one massive sandwich, and we are here for it! If you’re into sweet AND salty, you need to head to Rosie’s and try it out for $4.99.

Hollywood Studios Merchandise Updates

Crossroads of the World

We didn’t spot any new merchandise during our visit, but we did spot a super cute Stitch, all dolled up with the 2021 Minnie Ears.

Same, Stitch, same.

Looks like he’s celebrating 2021 along with the rest of us!

Hollywood Studios Entertainment Updates

New Ride Photo Feature

While walking down Sunset Boulevard, we got a notification on our phone about a new photo feature!

Notification from My Disney Experience

The new feature is supposed to allow attraction photos to be linked automatically through the My Disney Experience App! Basically, your ride photos will be linked automatically directly to your app, rather than having to tap your MagicBand to the scanner at the PhotoPass spot at the end of the ride (although you can still do that).

Automatic Attraction Photo Linking Testing!

This is still in pilot, so we’ll keep you updated with any more updates!

Pixar Cavalcade

Only two of the Green Army Men drummers showed up for the cavalcade today — there are usually more.

Only two?

You guys, we are IN love with the character interactions going on at Hollywood Studios right now. Donald came out to say hello from the flower beds. HI, DONALD!

Donald is the best!

We also caught Donald tending to some flowers. Who knew he was such a good gardener?

And Mickey drove by in a cavalcade!

Oh, boy!

Does it get better than that?

Talk about a fun day! We had a blast at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and we’ll be back soon with even more updates. See you then!
