We are BACK in Disney’s California Adventure Park for A Touch of Disney!
At this limited-ticketed event, the star is all the food and drink! And, even without rides reopening, we’ve had one busy day! So, let’s cover one of the food booths that we were excited to see RETURN from the Food and Wine Festival — D-Lish!
Menu
D-Lish features “new twists on classic sweets.” That sounds like our kind of thing! During the festival it is open for Mobile Order only, so you’ll want to be sure you have your phone on you to order these up!
Food
It’s mandatory to give it all a try, right? We think so! D-Lish is serving Walt’s Chili (which we know from Carnation Cafe). The dish is a Hearty Beef Chili topped with Cheese, Sour Cream, and Green Onions and it is available for $7.
We expected this to have ground beef, but guess what — the meat in this baby is actually in chunks! So VERY meaty and VERY tasty! It’s a classic for a reason — also, it’s not super spicy, which makes it a win for most Disneyland guests.
Next, we tried the Very Very Berry Mickey Waffle. This is a Mickey Waffle with macerated Berries, Whipped Cream, and Syrup for $6.50.
This was such a great dessert dish — perfectly sweet. The waffle also had a little bit of syrup on it, so that was a nice surprise! The downside? There’s only ONE waffle? Like we can eat a lot of Mickey waffles, so why just one?!
Drink
There’s also a non-alcoholic drink option available from this booth. The Farmstand Punch is Pineapple, Orange, Peach, and fresh Lime Juice. You can get it for $6.50. It’s very refreshing and worked really well with the waffle as a sort of breakfast drink. It’s VERY orangey, though, so if you don’t like orange flavors, skip it. Our only complaint? We wish you could get it spiked.
And, they also have the Farmstand Punch with a Grapes Glow Cube! So, you can top your punch with a red or green glowing grape! If you get the cube in your punch it costs $10 total or you can get the glow cubes separate for $5.50.
We’re going to call this one a win for us! There’s just nothing quite like loading up on classic Disney treats and we certainly didn’t mind the twists! We’re headed to the rest of the booths at the event, so stay tuned for more from Disney’s California Adventure!
