Creature Comforts Starbucks at Animal Kingdom Offers Some Surprising Lunch Options

A few things are guaranteed at Walt Disney World; one of them is that there will be a long line at any in-park Starbucks location first thing in the morning. At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the Starbucks location is called Creature Comforts. Instead of spending time in line at Starbucks in the morning, consider a stop here for a midday pick-me-up. You’ll find two delicious sandwiches that would go great with your favorite Starbucks beverage.

It’s hard to resist your favorite Starbucks drinks to kick off the day, but we highly suggest making the most of your morning by getting in some of the big attractions on your touring plan. The sandwiches offered in the afternoon are surprisingly high quality and satisfying. Currently there are two options:

  • Roast Beef Sandwich – on multigrain bread with cheese, mayonnaise, and tomato – $8.99
  • Turkey Focaccia Sandwich – with mozzarella cheese, tomato — $8.99

Chrissy on our team recently gave both sandwiches a try and state that “they were ginormous!” She reports that everything seemed very fresh and the bread was good. Each one is enough for two adults to share and they aren’t the usual Starbucks offering so it was a nice surprise.

Of the two options, the Turkey Focaccia was Chrissy’s preferred sandwich. The Italian inspiration makes this a very tasty sandwich. It is also is slightly larger than the Roast Beef option. But, either one is satisfying especially if you’re looking for something different than Disney’s traditional quick service options.

Creature Comforts Starbucks does not offer mobile ordering and can have a long line, especially in the morning. Our subscribers rate this location as one of best spots for something quick at Animal Kingdom.

Are you a fan of the Starbucks locations inside the parks? Would you try either of these sandwiches?
