Disney will follow the guidelines from health authorities and government agencies and apply what they’ve learned from the phased reopening of Disney Springs to guide the reopening of Downtown Disney. This will include several operational changes to promote physical distancing and cleanliness.

Hand sanitizer station in Downtown Disney

During the initial phase of reopening, Downtown Disney will have capacity measures in place, and there will be limitations on parking and operating hours. Guests must self-park at Simba lot (at Disneyland Drive and Katella Ave), and follow signs to the designated entrances and exits. While individual hours may vary, Downtown Disney District hours will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., daily.

Guests will also undergo temperature screenings prior to entry, and anyone with a temperature of 100.4 degrees and above will be asked to leave, along with the rest of their party.

There will also be enhanced cleaning procedures, and guests will find hand sanitizer and hand-wash stations throughout Downtown Disney. Face coverings are required for all guests and employees and guests must bring their own face covering. In addition, cashless payments are recommended.
