Today, Guests who visit the Walt Disney World Resort will be able to utilize a new contactless option for visiting and touring. The recently announced Disney MagicMobile is now live!

What is Disney MagicMobile? It is an easy-to-use way for Guests to experience the Walt Disney World Resort. This new service works in conjunction with MagicBands and has many of the same functionalities. The best part? Guests may use the new Disney MagicMobile service, a MagicBand interchangeably for added flexibility. In addition, Disney Resort hotel guests can purchase MagicBands at a special, pre-arrival price or they can pick up a Key to the World card at their convenience at the front desk. 

Let’s take a look at some helpful tips for what Disney MagicMobile can do and how it will work:

Guests will be able to create a Disney MagicMobile pass through the My Disney Experience app. The best part is it can then be added to your digital wallet on your smart devices. Guests will even be able to customize your pass by choosing from several Disney-themed designs. There are even special designs just for Annual Passholders and DVC Members! (And, for even more fun, they animate upon use!) 

What about those who have multiple members of their family? Chances are one person is in charge of handling all those tickets. Well, good news – multiple passes may be stored on a single device.

When a Guest wants to use Disney MagicMobile to enter the parks, all they will need to do is hold your smart device near an access point just like you do with a MagicBand. Best of all is that with Express Mode on iPhone and Apple Watch, Guests do not even need to wake or unlock their device, or open up the app, to use their Disney MagicMobile pass.

Other features include the ability to automatically link your Disney PhotoPass attraction photos and videos to your profile through your smartphone. Just confirm your settings in advance of riding at participating attractions.

The My Disney Experience app also enables Disney Resort hotel Guests to unlock their room door using our current digital room key feature.

As of right now, only those with iPhones and Apple Watches will be able to access this option. Disney MagicMobile is coming to other smart devices in the future.

As a reminder, those who want to use Disney MagicMobile to visit the parks will need valid park admission and a park reservation for park entry and must be linked to your account.
