Want to Build a Droid or Lightsaber When Disneyland Reopens? Here’s Everything You Need to Know.

ICYMI, Disneyland dropped a whole lot of news on us today, woo woo!

T-minus 24 days, Disneyland!

We now have a WAY better idea of how things are going to look once the park actually reopens on April 30th, including who can actually be there, and how they can get tickets.

If you’ve already scoured through all the other Disneyland news, you may still be wondering about some of the remaining experiences that weren’t included in the original chunk of announcements. Well, we’ve got some answers!

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland, pre-closure

While we’ve already covered details on how to make park reservations, and when dining reservations will open up, there are some other reservations we still need to cover! Over in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, it looks like both Savi’s Workshop (where you can build your own lightsaber) and the Droid Depot will be open to limited availability. And as we shared earlier, Rise of the Resistance will be open as well.

According to the Disney website, Savi’s Workshop will have limited reservations and guests can check for availability starting on April 22nd. For Droid Depot, it currently does not appear as though a reservation will be necessary, so availability may depend on popularity and capacity.

Savi’s Waiting Area

This is somewhat similar to what we saw when the two reopened in Disney World, and we will be curious to see if anything changes closer to opening, as well as if guests will be able to get the full Savi’s Workshop experience! We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the latest we’re hearing, so keep following along on DFB!

Speaking of Star Wars…Will Rise of the Resistance Reopen with Disneyland??

Will you be visiting either of these iconic Galaxy’s Edge experiences when they reopen? Let us know in the comments!
