PHOTOS & VIDEO: Pirates of the Caribbean is Now Loading More Riders in Disney World!

Quite a few things have changed at Disney World lately.

What a Beautiful Sight!

Recently, Disney World updated their mask policy for outdoor photos, relaxed their employee dress code to allow visible tattoos and more, and we saw a BIG change take place over at the Jungle Cruise. Today, we spotted another change over at Magic Kingdom in a fan-favorite attraction!

During our trip around Magic Kingdom today we made our way over to Adventureland and into one of Disney World’s most classic rides — Pirates of the Caribbean.

ARRR!

Previously, Disney had generally been seating more than 1 party per boat on this ride, but the parties were typically separated by several rows to maintain social distancing. Generally, that meant that one party was seated at the front and another was seated at the back, with several rows between them. Today, however, we noticed that the loading arrangement was different!

When we visited the ride today, Cast Members were seating parties in every other row — meaning only 1 row was being left between parties.

Things Have Changed!

Check out our video below showing the new way the boats are being loaded. Note that there is no plexiglass between the rows.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen changes come to a ride’s loading procedures. Pirates joins a LONG list of rides that have changed the way their vehicles are being loaded over the past few months. For example, Slinky Dog Dash, the Barnstormer, and Test Track are all now seating guests in every row, which is different than how things were done previously. Other rides have also made changes to their seating arrangements over the past few months.
