The Marvel Cinematic Universe, or MCU, is a pretty amazing creative world.

When Black Panther debuted a few years ago, Marvel fans found another hero to love. Now, Black Panther and his home of Wakanda are a frequent sight on Disney merchandise, a Wakanda Disney+ series is in the works, and we’ve been patiently awaiting more details about the Black Panther sequel.

Well, today, Disney announced the name of the sequel! On July 8th, 2022, we’ll get to take in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

The new name was announced in a Youtube video from the Marvel Entertainment channel. You can also spot some other names, release dates, and NEW footage from the upcoming Eternals. Watch it right here!

We don’t know too much about the Black Panther sequel but we do know that Marvel will not be recasting T’Challa (Black Panther) after Chadwick Boseman tragically passed away last year.
