Happy Mother’s Day to every mom out there! Average posted wait times today at Walt Disney World were relatively low today at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios, while Animal Kingdom’s times were 11th-highest out of the past month. Some of that’s probably due to the return of a shortened version of Festival of the Lion King, titled A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King. My guess is that whoever named this came over from the LaCroix beverage company, where they’d previously come up with the flavors “A Celebration of a Hint of Cranberry” and “Is This Pineapple?”

I suppose it’s also possible that there aren’t enough people in the Studios today who want to ride ROTR, but that seems less likely. In any event, it looks like Rise of the Resistance is unlikely to make it to boarding group 160 today.
