Review: The Bloody Haunted Mansion Wedding Cake Is BACK in Disneyland

There’s a spooky returning snack in Disneyland!

Haunted Mansion

We’ve seen quite a few versions of a Haunted Mansion wedding cake on both coasts, from Constance’s For Better or For Worse Wedding Cake in Magic Kingdom to a cherry-inspired wedding cake in Disneyland (We’ve even seen a holiday version!). And now, one of those creepy eats is BACK.

At French Market in Disneyland, you’ll find that the Haunted Mansion Wedding Cake has returned! This treat is a white cake with buttercream frosting, sour cherries, and cream cheese filling, finished with a splatter of cherry sauce. And we’re sorry if you have a weak stomach…but that cherry sauce looks a LOT like blood.

You’ll want to note that this dessert is NOT currently available on Mobile Order. You’ll have to order it in person! And once you get yours in hand, you’ll realize that it’s HUGE. That makes it a great shareable snack!

It’s BIG.

The cake itself is excellent — no complaints here! While it is just your everyday white cake, we found that the flavor complemented the cherries and cream cheese well.

No complaints from us!

Now as for those cherries, you WILL taste ’em. But the flavor isn’t strong at all! If you’re really against cherries, you’ll want to skip this cake, but most people will be fine due to the subtlety of those notes.

It’s tasty!

We do wish this treat was available on Mobile Order, but for now, you can grab it for $7.99 (in person!) at French Market. We’re guessing it will be on Mobile Order soon! We’ll keep an eye out for any more fun treats and let ya know what we think of them, so stay tuned to DFB.
