Disneyland Extends Legacy Passholder Discounts AGAIN

Now that Disneyland has reopened and Avengers Campus has made its debut, the next big question when it comes to Disneyland is this — when will Disney announce its new membership program for guests? As of now, no new information about the new program has been announced.

When will Disneyland announce its new membership program?

Months ago, Disneyland announced it would discontinue its Annual Passholder program and moved existing Passholders into a group it refers to as “Legacy Passholders.” And until a new program is announced, Legacy Passholders have continued to get some benefits.

These benefits include discounts on food and beverages, and most recently, were set to extend through June 30th, 2021. But those discounts have been extended again and now Legacy Passholders will be able to get those discounts through July 31st, 2021. According to the official Disneyland App:

Legacy Passholders can use their digital discount tickets on the app but will need to have their Annual Passport and a valid photo ID on hand. Discounts are dependent on which category Legacy Passholders fall into, either Discount A or Discount B.

It also looks like Disney expects to continue extending those benefits until they’ve announced the replacement program. Previously, Disneyland Resort President Ken Potrock commented that the new program would be announced by the end of the year. So keep checking the app for updates! We’ll also do our best to keep you in the loop!
